LeipzigMOVE is a multimodal mobility platform developed for Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe to bring together public transport and shared mobility in a single digital experience. Through one app, users can plan journeys, buy tickets and access a growing range of mobility services across Leipzig and the surrounding area.

The platform combines local public transport with additional mobility options including bike sharing, e-scooters, car sharing, taxi and on-demand services. Users can compare journey options, view real-time travel information and choose the most suitable route based on convenience, time and mode. The app also supports in-app payment and digital ticketing, creating a more joined-up and user-friendly mobility experience.

LeipzigMOVE is not a static journey planner. It is a live MaaS platform designed to evolve over time. TAF mobile has continued to extend the platform since launch, adding new mobility services and features including BonusMOVE, a loyalty programme designed to reward sustainable travel behaviour and strengthen long-term user engagement.

The platform is also a strong example of how mobility operators can move beyond simple ticketing and create a broader digital relationship with users.
