Cookie Policy
Last updated: 17 April 2026
About this policy
This policy describes how this public marketing website (the “site”) uses cookies and similar technologies. It reflects how the site is built today, including the cookie banner and Google Analytics 4. If you use other ECR services or applications, separate terms or notices may apply to those services.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use browser storage
(specifically localStorage) to remember your cookie choice so that we do not keep asking you on every
page. Although localStorage is not a cookie, it serves a similar purpose under privacy law, so we
describe it here for clarity.
Cookie banner and your choices
When you first visit, you may see a cookie banner. You can choose Allow cookies or Reject all. Closing the banner without allowing cookies is treated the same as rejecting them.
This site does not currently offer separate banner toggles for categories such as “functional”, “statistics”, and “marketing”. Instead, the banner offers a single allow or reject choice for the purposes described in this policy.
If you reject, or do not allow cookies:
- we do not load our Google Analytics 4 script; and
-
your choice is stored in
localStorageunder the keyecr_cookie_consentwith the valuerejected.
If you allow cookies:
-
we store
ecr_cookie_consentasacceptedinlocalStorage; and - we then load Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
You can clear site data for this domain in your browser settings at any time. If you do, the stored consent value will be removed and you may see the banner again on a future visit.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate use of the site, such as pages viewed and general traffic
patterns. GA4 is a non-essential analytics service and is not loaded unless you choose Allow cookies,
or your browser already contains a stored accepted choice from a previous visit.
Before any Google tag loads, we set Google Consent Mode defaults so that analytics and advertising storage are not granted. After you allow cookies, we update consent so that analytics storage is granted for measurement. In our current configuration, advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalisation remain denied unless we change that in code.
When GA4 runs, Google may set or read cookies, including identifiers used for analytics, and may process data according to Google’s own policies.
What we do not use on this marketing site
On this site, as currently implemented:
- we do not run Google AdSense or similar display advertising products;
- we do not use the cookie banner to enable separate marketing-cookie categories beyond GA4 measurement when allowed;
- there is no customer sign-in area on this public marketing site, so we do not set first-party authentication session cookies here.
Strictly necessary technologies and third parties
Delivering the pages you request may involve standard server and infrastructure logging, such as IP address logging by our hosting provider. This is separate from the cookie banner mechanism.
If this site includes embedded third-party content, or links to third-party websites, those providers may set their own cookies or use similar technologies under their own policies.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. If you block all cookies or clear storage, parts of the site may behave differently. For example, you may see the cookie banner again.
Changes
We may update this policy if the way the site works changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when we do.
