ECR takes on London to Brighton for charity

ECR team on the London to Brighton charity ride

On Sunday 14th September, three of our team took part in the legendary London to Brighton charity cycle ride, raising money for the Royal Marsden.

Nick – impressively, this was only his third time ever riding a bike on the road, having trained almost entirely indoors on a Peloton.

Tommy – an experienced rider and previous ECR employee, who has already completed the famous Ring of Kerry cycle … twice!

Tom – our Operations Director, who joined Tommy both on the Ring of Kerry, and again in this challenge.

At the finish line in Brighton, the team were met by Yav Dimitrov, a key member of our support team in the office, who was just as vital in supporting them through this milestone as he is in keeping our systems running smoothly every day.

The ride was nearly 90km with close to 1,000m of climbing – a real test of endurance and determination. Whether it was Nick pushing himself out on the open road for the first time, or Tom and Tommy adding another big event to their cycling achievements, we are proud of what they accomplished together.

At ECR, teamwork is part of our DNA – whether that involves delivering complex projects for clients, or taking on challenges outside the office to support good causes.
