We are incredibly proud to celebrate our colleague, Maneel Patel, who has taken on an incredible challenge to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. On 20 September 2025, Maneel joined thousands of participants in London for the Shine Night Walk, completing an incredible, full marathon distance of 23.8 miles under the city lights, with a time of 9h 57m.
Far more than just a test of stamina and determination – it was a way to support life-changing research. Maneel’s efforts have already raised almost £400 for Cancer Research UK, helping to fund groundbreaking work across prevention, early diagnosis, and kinder treatments.
All of us at ECR are inspired by Maneel’s commitment and are so proud to see the spirit of our team reflected in causes that matter deeply. Cancer touches the lives of so many – 1 in 2 people will face a diagnosis in their lifetime – and every contribution helps to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
