The ECR Team Takes to the Road.
Yesterday four members of the ECR team swapped keyboards for handlebars and headed out for a lunchtime ride from the office.
Tom, Yavor, James and Matthew set off together on a local loop through the Hertfordshire countryside. The ride was not for fundraising this time, just a chance to enjoy the sunshine, stretch the legs and take a break from the screens.
And judging by the photos at the halfway stop, it did exactly that.
Moments like this are a reminder that while our work is often fast paced and technical, the people behind the systems matter just as much. Taking time to step outside, move, and reconnect with colleagues is something we actively encourage at ECR. Healthy teams build better products.
The group are already talking about their next challenge and are considering organising a charity ride later this summer. We will be sure to share the details and support them all the way.
For now, it was simply good to get out, enjoy the fresh air, and return to the office re-energised for the afternoon ahead.
